In the beginning Digital Publishing did exactly what it said on the tin, it was a digital platform for editorial material published to iPad and tablet devices. Interactive capabilities, video, animation, touchscreen technology and ever evolving additional features, has seen Digital Publishing burst out of its title to be used for so much more. Although still used widely for magazines and editorial content, we as an agency, produce far more apps that are not editorial in nature.
Digital Publishing, also known as DPS, was first introduced by Adobe. While they remain a leading platform for content rich mobile and tablet apps, the rise of the digital magazine has seen a wide variety of other platforms launch. They each have their own characteristics that lend themselves to specific uses. Our Digital Publishing team are experts in many platforms and advise our clients on the most suitable options, allowing them to make informed descisions.
