Trigger Street Independent

With offices in LA and New York, Trigger Street Productions is a production company formed by Kevin Spacey and his production partner Dana Brunetti in 1997. The name comes from an actual street in Spacey’s childhood home where he and his friends would dream of opening their own theatre to stage their own shows. Triggerstreet.com was launched as an online community for underrepresented filmmakers and is extremely popular with thousands of users uploading and reviewing content.

Trigger Street Independent is the next stage in the evolution of the Trigger Street brand. The idea being that it paves the way for the production of profitable “one voiced projects” with all films being chosen based on script and director. Additionally, with each film being shot on digital video or HD they can be produced for less than one million dollars each.

Via their profit sharing model they empower artists to do more interesting projects. Directors retain the final cut and everyone from directors to crew and cast shares in the gross sale of every film it makes.

Our work with Trigger Street Independent

Corporate identity

Fourleaf were commissioned to help launch this new venture for Trigger Street and to create the identity based on the existing triggerStreet.com brand. The film strip and infinity rolling road were essential elements but the rest was up to us. Fourleaf designed both the static and moving identities that would be used online and in film credits.

Corporate stationery

The final stationery suite incorporated a two sided laminated business card that was designed to tie in with the brochure design and identical placement of logo when the card was removed. We also designed the US letter and UK A4 letterheads with an interesting reverse that would display the logo immediately when pulled out of a DL or C5 envelope which were also branded.

Brochure design

The brochure pack was specifically designed for its launch at the Tribeca film festival in Manhattan. The pack was targeted at Journalists and those interested in reporting on and spreading the word of this new and innovative production company. The folder contained a double fold out with details of its founders and history with Triggerstreet.com. Then contained in the capacity pocket was a series of inserts bound by nickel bolts.

Screensavers & wallpapers

Fourleaf designed and built a series of interactive screensavers and wallpapers for their launch. They contained interesting features such as illustrated wrist watches that told the actual time and date, animated versions of the identity showing the infinity rolling road and also the functionality so that Trigger Street could send dynamic updates of new film releases directly to everyone’s desktop wallpapers.
